Click to View Kodiak Pictures Pictures Kodiak Pictures. Here is my 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 4x4 in the last days I owned it. I hated to sell but found myself riding the Kawasaki Prairie 650 more and more and the Kodiak less and less. This Kodiak was very reliable and trouble free even though I put it through a lot. If it could breath it would run no matter what. To anyone that owns a Kodiak I highly suggest mounting 1.5" aluminum wheel spacers from High Lifter. The stability will be greatly improved. The front intake for the CVT never did change except to make it longer and the air intake for the airbox never changed. The rear, however when through two changes.
